PROJECT HOPE (HOME OWNERSHIP PREVENTS EVICTION) - MOBILE HOMES | COMMUNITY ACTION COUNCIL OF PORTAGE COUNTY
Provides needed repairs and handicapped accessibility modifications for mobile-home owners. Funds may be used to repair or replace a heating unit, hot water tank, severely deteriorated windows, walls and doors, or correct code violations. May also be used to improve accessibility for those with disabilities. In some cases, may be used to improve sewer, well, and plumbing.

Eligibility
Serves owners of mobile-homes in Portage or Trumbull County, whose income is at or below 50% of Area Median Income (AMI). There are some exceptions as to what type of income is counted - generally, low income persons are encouraged to contact this agency about this program. Must have a notice of eviction or have a disability that requires handicapped modifications to the home or have a code violation or a repair problem that may cause potential health concerns or homelessness. Mobile Home may be on rented lot. Work is only guaranteed (by this agency) for one (1) year.
