Transitional Age Youth Housing Program | Huckleberry House

Transitional age youth (TAY) Housing program serves families where head of household is between 18-24 years old. Clients are linked with a case manager who assists with identifying stable housing, providing financial assistance and goal planning as well as connection to community resources.

Application process

Those staying in shelter, on the land/in car, or in hotels being paid for by an agency will need to connect with Huckleberry House's CARR team first. CARR team will refer to Home for Families. Those who are doubled up with friends/family or at risk of eviction will speak with Crystal Gary. Families will have an initial meeting with their case manager to go over paperwork and discuss next steps.

Pregnant or parenting individuals age 18-24 who are homeless or housing unstable. Must be at or below 50% AMI.
