Applicants must have passed a firearms safety course that provides a certificate of completion stating the the curse and training is in compliance with the State of Ohio House Bill #12. Applicants must apply and successfully be approved by the Sheriff's Office after a completed background check before receiving their concealed carry permit within the State of Ohio.
