Provides non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) for Medicaid recipients. Individuals can receive transportation to and from medical appointments to receive Medicaid covered services. Transportation may be in the form of taxi, van, bus or public transit.

Escorted Transportation | Lorain County Office On Aging

Provides nonemergency door-to-door transportation within Lorain County for older adults who require routine medical services and who are unable to use other available means of transportation. Possible destinations include medical, dental, and vision appointments and hospitals or centers for tests or other regular treatment. Provides door through door assistance and can accommodate wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices.

On Demand - Transit Services | City Of Marion - Government Offices

Demand Service transportation available Monday-Friday, same day service. Expect the bus within a half-hour after time requested, depending on the trip. AmeriCorps Seniors engages volunteers 55+ with service in the community. Foster Grandparent Program engages low-income seniors (under 200% of the federal poverty threshold) to mentor youth. Qualifying Foster Grandparent Program volunteers receive a modest stipend, meal allowance, and mileage reimbursement. Senior Support Action Group, through the support of volunteers of any age, provides homebound seniors and other medically homebound persons with access to food, transportation, and companionship.
