Manufactured Homes Program has jurisdiction over the installation of manufactured homes; the licensing and regulation of manufactured home park operators, installers, dealers, brokers, and salespersons; and the certification and regulation of inspectors and inspection agencies.

Licenses day dare facilities and homes for children. Provides information about the licensing process and provides access to online training. The agency inspects, licenses, and sets the standards for child care centers, child day camps, and private homes caring for 7 or more children.

Provides financial assistance forthe cost of child care to low income parents who work, go to school or are in training programs. Provides a list of all licensed child care providers that are contracted through the Ashtabula County department of Job and Family Services. Also certifies Type B Child Care Homes.

Investigates and responds to consumer complaints and allegations of abuse/neglect of residents in Ohio state licensed hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living and rehabilitation facilities, Ohio Department of Health licensed group homes and unlicensed group homes.

LCJFS is responsible for inspection and licensing in-home child care providers in Licking County, while the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services licenses and inspects out of home day care providers.
