Assistance is provided only for items that are essential for the applicant's employment, job training, or education such as: car repairs, car payments, or car insurance payments; car down payment; work clothing and uniforms; and tools and safety equipment. Also will help pay for professional testing/certification and licensing fees, identification materials (i.e. driver's license, state identification, birth certificates), driver's education, and other items as deemed appropriate by the agency. Transportation to work provided through the most cost effective means. A budget will need to be completed and watching a one hour financial literacy video may be required.

Walk in assistance for the homeless. Can provide a nights lodging at a local motel for the homeless. Can also assist with low cost medications. For those just starting a job and needing special shoes (steel toed or non skid) they can help with purchase of the shoes. Help in replacing identification and prescription assistance.

Offers assistance for individuals who need help obtaining a State ID. $50 maximum assistance.

Provides temporary financial assistance for gas, electric and water bills, birth certificate and ID fee payment, car repairs, gas vouchers for medical and job transportation, prescription medication, and vouchers for motel stays.

Provides a new program to help assist their clients in obtaining documents and resources, if you are in need of help for birth certificates, driver's license, state ID's, social security cards, snap benefits, medical insurance, employment applications, gas card for new job clients only. They maybe able to assist you.

May provide financial assistance to help people pay fees associated with obtaining an identification card or replacing an identification card that has been lost or stolen in situations where they cannot otherwise afford one.

Provides assistance to seniors trying to obtain a birth certificate, or state identification. The program will also assist seniors with benefit screening eligibility, and completing Medicaid applications. Limited rent and utility assistance for seniors may also be available.

Assists with funds to acquire an Ohio State ID or a birth certificate. Birth certificates are only available for individuals born in the State of Ohio.
