Provides a personal report detailing occurrences of checking and savings account mishandling or usage violations (such as overdrafts and/or bad checks) to individuals who wish to learn what information (if any) ChexSystems is reporting on them. This information stays on the consumer's file for five years. Provides an appeals process for consumers who believe that information on their ChexSystems consumer report contains misinformation. Will make changes to the file if warranted.
