Provides an opportunity for the offender to give back to the community, learn new skills, meet new people, and learn teamwork by working for agencies throughout Richland County. The offender's charges, skills, geographic location and work schedule are taken into consideration when he/she meets with the Social Service Liaison to be placed at a non-profit or government agency for community work service. Offenders are required to follow specific rules and regulations outlined in the assignment packet. The Social Service Liaison, along with the offender's supervision officer, will monitor an offender's compliance through regular contact with the placement agency. These contacts will include face-to-face visits with the offender at the work site.

Licking County Adult Court Services Department is to assure public safety by supervising offenders placed on community control for felony crimes as well as supervising people awaiting Court actions for criminal indictments. By providing effective correctional interventions to criminal offenders, the Licking County community is safer as offenders become law-abiding. Specialized services include Chemical Dependency Supervision, Sexual Offender Supervision, Mental Health Supervision, Diversion, Basic Supervision, Community Transition Supervision, and Child Support Enforcement supervision. The Licking County Adult Court Services Department assures public safety through effective correctional interventions utilizing cutting edge proven supervision methods.

Implements and enforces the adult probation monitoring and reporting services to individuals referred through the courts.

Supervises offenders who remain in the community under the jurisdiction of the Stow Municipal Court. Conducts pre-sentence investigations to assist the judges in the determination of appropriate sentences. Administers alternative sentencing programs to supplement traditional penalties including voluntary community service. Oversees restitution to victims of crimes.
