Provides information and advice in order to prevent potential scams, fraud or financial abuse. Also helps older adults with budgeting, credit card and other debt, and planning for the future. Does not offer legal advice.

Assists families and individuals in need to temporary financial assistance, supplemental food benefits and health insurance. Service Programs Include: Ohio Works First, Prevention Retention and Contingency, Food Assistance, Healthy Start, Medicaid, and Fraud Prevention.

Provides general crime prevention and safety education and information, including but not limited to, bunco/fraud prevention, bicycle safety, child passenger safety, telecommunications safety, identity safety, and elder abuse prevention. Provides a school resource officer as well as substance abuse prevention and gang prevention information.

Provides victims of identity theft a means of demonstrating to creditors that their identity has been stolen. Will assist in efforts to show creditors that fraudulent charges have been made against accounts in their name. Victims are given step-by-step information about how to alert creditors to fraudulent activity in their names, and simple, fill-in-the-blank affidavits to send to credit bureaus and creditors. Also offers general information about steps to take if one believes their identity has been stolen, as well as information about how to avoid identity theft.

Provides education on credit, contractual agreements, identity theft, and basic finances such as budgeting and saving.

Provides free public education about identity theft and related issues. Offers online resources including prevention tips, videos, scam alerts, and consumer guides. Advises governmental agencies, legislators, law enforcement, and businesses about issues regarding identity theft.

Provides a number of programs to benefit and protect the community. Programs include seatbelt safety, drug and alcohol prevention, sexual predators,computer safety, identity theft, seniors fraud prevention, crime prevention and vacation security checks of outside of residents property.

Provides additional screening and security measures to prevent identity fraud and/or detect and counter refund fraud related to identity theft.
