Provides a number of programs to benefit and protect the community. Programs include seatbelt safety, drug and alcohol prevention, sexual predators,computer safety, identity theft, seniors fraud prevention, crime prevention and vacation security checks of outside of residents property.

Provides crime prevention services for the City of Warrensville Heights. Services include crime prevention information, security evaluations and vacation security checks. Also provides a special officer to deal with the concerns of senior citizens.

Offers vacation security checks of homes for residents who are out of town. Sponsors a bike rodeo each year where children have bike safety tests, can ride a bike course, are fitted for helmets, etc.

Provides security checks of the exteriors of homes periodically when residents leave their home to take vacation or business trips.

Clark County residents may call the Sheriff's Office to have their residence placed on a vacation house check. The Uniform Patrol Deputies on shifts will perform the checks.

Dispatches police officers within the city of Clayton to the scene of a crime in progress or a police emergency incident (call 911). Dispatches police officers to the scene of incidents where citizens need non emergency assistance. Call 937-225-4357, the Montgomery County Dispatch Center. Also investigates incidents of alleged police misconduct.

Offers protective services to the city. Maintains police records of crimes committed in the city. Provides patrol check-ins while residents are on vacation.

Offers safety programs to residents of German Township in the areas of residential security evaluations, school safety, bicycle safety, and vacation security.

The police department conducts house checks for those on vacation on request.

Provides many non emergency crime prevention and public safety education services including: neighborhood watch programs, security evaluations for both residential and commercial customers, D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education) programs in both elementary and high schools, bicycle/pedestrian safety programs for schools, property I.D. program, and crime reporting hotline.
