Coordinating services; Case/Care Management for Children's Issues,Case/Care Management Referrals, Children's Rights Groups, Issue Advocacy for Families and Children, Planning/Coordinating and Advisory Groups for Children's Issues, Planning/Coordinating and Advisory Groups for Youth Issues through legislation advocating for children with multiple needs and their families. Children and Family First Council offers a variety of different programs for families including the Help Me Grow Program which serves families with children pre-natal through age 3 with home visits and assistance with developmental delays.

Establishes an ongoing dialogue between the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) community and the City of Akron Administration. Hears directly from community members about concerns, works collaboratively with the community to advance and advocate for policies which affect the LGBT community, and to eliminate bigotry, discrimination, and prejudice on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity and expression. Works to identify solutions and educate about recommended safety measures and available resources.

Providing information, service programs and volunteer opportunities; system advocacy for children, legal issues and other related issues, CASA recruits, trains and supervises concerned community members to serve Butler County Juvenile Court as Court Appointed Special Advocate Volunteers

Butler County United Way funds programs with local Community Partners falling under the pillars of education, financial stability, and health. Donations received through individual and corporation donations fund the programs that provide the resources needed to change community conditions impacting the Butler County area.
