Provides services for clients to find gainful employment or training. Specific services include: counseling and planning, personal and work adjustment training, vocational training, training supplies and books, financial aid to attend post-secondary classes, artificial limbs, braces, eyeglasses, hearing aids, psychotherapy, physical therapy, wheelchairs (if needed to work), occupational supplies, placement, small business development, and follow-up on the job. Also helps disabled students who are transitioning from school to work or college after high school. Some of the above services are provided by other agencies through a referral process.

Provides tutoring in math, reading, and language arts, as well as other character development curricula. Learning Center promotes fluency in reading and comprehension of math concepts, while developing self-determination and self-pride in their studies. Offers classes in computer use and leadership development.Youth development programs include African drumming, anger management, and martial science. Capacity of the program is 65.

Provides opportunity for higher education offering 76 degree and certificate programs. Academic divisions include Arts and Humanities, Business, Engineering Technologies, Science & Health, and Social Science & Public Service Technologies.

HeadStart is a free, federal program for preschool children between the ages of 3 to 5 for low income families. A wide variety of education and health services for the child and supportive services for parents and families are offered.

Offers a state-accredited kindergarten program for children who are having difficulties or trouble growing up emotionally. Emphasizes personality consolidation and preparation for joining regular first grade classes. Provides one teacher per five pupils. Limited to 18 children.

Offers ongoing seminars and consultation for preschool teachers, day care providers, counselors, social workers, and others working with children and families. Seeks to give participants an understanding of what children are communicating in their behaviors. Includes a parenting course for teachers to teach child development and parenting skills to high school students. May offer CEU's. Offers ongoing intensive weekly consultations to day care centers and preschools.

Provides participants with a structured day of activities in a safe environment; breakfast, lunch and snacks are provided; for persons with Alzheimer's, a related disorder, or frail elderly. Transportation available.

Provides educational career and technical programs including those in the liberal arts and sciences, business technologies, engineering and industrial technologies, health careers and public service. Options include two-year associate degree programs, one-year certificate programs, post-degree professional certificate programs, and continuing/professional development classes. Also offers community education programs, recreational activities, and cultural arts programs and exhibits.

Provides support and preparation services testings required by statute and college entrance exams. Administers state proficiency and various aptitude/achievement and intelligence tests. Tutoring may be available for students who need it to pass these examinations.

Provides opportunity for eligible individuals to complete requirements for high school diploma by passing a job skills test and completing job training in health care, manufacturing, logistics, food preparation, emergency services or construction. Fulfillment of job skills test and job training result in granting of a high school diploma as well as any earned certificate.

Offers college access, career exploration programming and services, traditional mentoring for senior students, and wrap-around services for students and families.
