Marietta College offers more than 40 undergraduate majors. Programs include leadership, petroleum engineering, fine arts, sciences, athletic training, education and journalism. Students have boundless opportunities for field experience, professional internships and study abroad. Normal admission to the College is open to anyone who is a high school graduate or the equivalent, completes the enrollment procedures and pays the fees for admission. This is exclusive of academic record or placement testing results. This open door policy does not deny specific technology departments the right to require preliminary training or talent.
Provides advanced, specialized, and structured academic programs leading to a Master-level degree.
Provides vocational education, career information, and vocational assessment for youth who reside in the communities that make up the school district. Offers programs in areas of study such as engineering, automotive, cosmetology, computer technology, health occupations, culinary arts, greenhouse and landscaping, early childhood education, marketing, etc. Also offers opportunities for students to gain work experience.

Provides comprehensive nursing education programs leading to an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Nursing or a Certificate of Proficiency in Practical Nursing. Completion of either the Associate Degree or Practical Nurse program enables an individual to take the required National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) for either the Registered Nurse or Practical Nurse.
Provides a 38-week program in the fundamentals of furnace components, operation, fuels and controls, air conditioning, refrigerant recovery and sheet metal; the EPA Refrigerant Transition and Recovery Certification Test is included.
Provides public, post-secondary education to enrolled students. Offers undergraduate and certificate programs.
Offers associate degree programs which prepare students for employment consistent with business, industrial, and service opportunities in the Central Ohio region.
Provides career-technical education for youth who reside in the communities that make up the school district. Work permits and school bus service is through students' school district of origin.
Provides YSU students who have physical, psychological and/or learning disabilities assistance in the classroom and on campus to succeed in college. Also offers to all students: Academic Coaching, Multicultural Student Services, Student Tutorial Services, Supplemental Instructional Services, and Disability Services.

This college focuses on serving adult professionals who are returning to finish a degree or to earn another degree.
