Strengthens our community by preventing unintended pregnancy and empowering individuals with the knowledge, opportunity, and freedom to make private decisions about their reproductive and sexual health. PPSWO provides family planning services, this includes services for birth control, STD testing and treatment, annual and breast exams, pregnancy test and options counseling, UTI, Trich, yeast and bacterial vaginosis testing and treatment, PEP and PREP testing and prescriptions as well as comprehensive sex education training.

Provides supervision and counseling to adult felony offenders and their families. Refers offenders to various community programs and tracks their compliance with the terms of their probation.

On Purpose Academy and Mentoring Center serves Preschoolers ages 2 1/2 to 4 year old with a researched based curriculum preparing them for Kindergarden. Our afterschool programs serves students and their parents with mentoring, training, life skills and community service in order for them to be successful in life.

Offers an in-school secondary program,at every county high school, for pregnant students and young parents. The purpose of GRADS is to increase the likelihood that young parents will remain in school with little interruption until graduation.

Offers the program Project RISE (Realizing Individual Strength Through Education), a collaborative effort by Akron Public Schools, local shelters, and the community to provide educational services to children and youth who are homeless. Project RISE also has a "Love and Learn" project where volunteers sew learning dolls for children who are homeless without a permanent nighttime residence.

Provides technical and legal advice and offers assistance to immigrants, refugees, and United States citizens with immigration related problems. Offers assistance with naturalization process and other citizenship related questions. Naturalization study guides and citizenship classes are available upon request.

Remedial education and summer school programs are available in every school as needed. Teen parent/pregnant teen education programs are available at both junior high and high school levels.

Provides early childhood development programs to children ages birth to five from income eligible (low-income) families. Children attend early childhood centers as well as learn about computers, art, science, music, and more. Home-based services are also available as an alternative to center-based services.
