Provides English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and job skills training to help refugees and immigrants integrate into their new country and become self-sufficient. Clients receive daily English and job readiness classes that teach vocabulary, literacy and conversational English skills as well as computer literacy and job preparation. Clients also receive individualized job search and placement assistance.

Provides training that teaches how to help save a life from suicide. Training includes learning how to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis and how to question, persuade, and refer someone to help. Training has been supported by the American Association of Suicidology and the American Psychiatric Association.

Provides a system where eligible individuals may audit credit or non-credit classes on a space-available basis.

Aspire, formerly known as ABLE, provides free services for individuals who need assistance acquiring the skills to be successful in postsecondary education and training, and employment. In addition to assisting students with GED preparation, this program can also include basic math, reading and writing skills.

Provides training to learn new job skills and to increase current job skill levels in a wide variety of professional employment areas. Provides background for testing for certification and professional licensure as well as continuing education credits where appropriate. Service is also available to employers wishing to increase skills of their employees as a whole. Areas covered include: bank teller training, truck driver training, training and education for those in the construction trades, small business development, customer service, careers working with aging individuals, health care careers (State Tested Nursing Assistant-STNA- training), Spanish for health care professionals, social work certification, human resources, meeting/event planning, food service/hospitality, classes to prepare for standardized tests such as the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and other college entrance exams, police/fire/emergency training, and computer classes (including certification in advanced information technology).

Offers free vocational, educational and social skills training to individuals age 16-24 years old (no age restriction for disabled persons). Trainees can earn a GED (General Educational Development) and HSE (High School Equivalency) vocational completion certificate.

Provides a wide variety of non-credit programs that draw from the broad academic disciplines of the Case Western University and the heritage of Jewish learning from Siegal College. Offers life long learning opportunities for residents of Northeastern Ohio.

Provides an annual two-day conference bringing together parents, family members, professionals, and autistic individuals to share evidence-based strategies, learn about best practices, and to network. CEUs and scholarships are available.

Provides presentations of papers and workshops several times a year, featuring distinguished psychoanalytic clinicians and educators. Continuing Education Units (CEU) and Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits are available for mental health practitioners.

Offers periodic training programs for counselors, case managers, social workers, and family therapists. Topics include cultural diversity, treatment strategies for adolescents, stress management, de-escalation/personal safety, and many others. Provides continuing education credits (CEUs) for counselors, social workers, and chemical dependency counselors.

Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) programs to fit individual needs. Customized ABA therapy, school based ABA consultation within public and private schools, behavior assessment and recommendations, professional development for staff working with individuals with disabilities and/or challenging behavior.

Provides classes for adults to improve their basic academic skills and/or earn a GED diploma.

Works with adults who need help improving their English-speaking skills to be better parents, efficient workers, and involved community members. All sessions are held on Zoom and are available upon request.

Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE), now called ASPIRE, is available at a variety of convenient times and at no charge. These classes are a great way to improve your employability or prepare to enroll in college or other training programs. GED - Learn how to use a scientific calculator (used in the GED tests), as well as prepare for the GED test. You can improve math, reading and writing skills to increase college placement and work-place credential scores. Classes help students prepare for the world of work. Offers volunteer tutors to work with persons who want to improve their reading, writing, math, social studies and science skills and/or work toward obtaining a High School Equivalency diploma. Tutors work one-on-one with students. Also provides access to computers, assistance transitioning to higher education and job readiness training for enrolled participants. Reading,math and language skills will be assessed.

Provides opportunities for students to practice literacy skills and study for the GED via computer-based software. Students can work from home, a local library, or other location with reliable Internet access.

Language classes for adults who's native language is not English.

Provides career and vocational assessment and counseling for unemployed or underemployed individuals looking for a career change. Also offers assistance with resume-writing, interviewing skills, and job search activities.

Provides resources, support and opportunities for life-long learning to adults. Classes include Adult Basic and Literacy Education (ABLE), college preparation for math and English, GED preparation, GED practice testing, and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).

Provides training, conferences, and independent study courses on a variety of disaster issues such as disaster preparedness, disaster mitigation, and coping with disasters. Some courses offer CEU's.
