Project Springboard is a comprehensive family literacy program that integrated adult, early childhood, and parenting education as well as parent and child together time. Adults and children attend programming together at The Clark enter. Parents will work to brush up on basic skills or work towards obtaining an Ohio High School Equivalency Diploma (GED) while children are participating in an Early Childhood program. Transportation and Child care services are provided.

Sponsors a wide variety of story programs for children of various ages as well as for the whole family. Offers activities for young children centered around reading and learning.
Provides a variety of adult literacy services. Service includes classes in basic reading and math, classes that refine skills to take one of the tests that serves as the equivalent of a high school diploma, high school equivalency testing, classes to develop English-speaking skills when a first language is not English, and the opportunity for eligible individuals to complete requirements for a high school diploma by passing a job skills test and completing job training in health care, manufacturing, logistics, food preparation, emergency services or construction. Successful fulfillment of job skills test and job training result in a high school diploma as well as any earned certificate.

Provides homework help, tutoring and high-yield learning activities and encourages members to become self-directed learners. Designed specifically to help kids and teens with homework, this program is available after school at Clubs. Dedicated youth development professionals and volunteers supervise each session and help youth members complete their assignments for the day. When they finish their work, they may choose to participate in a variety of other engaging and educational activities to develop their skills even further.

The Stevens Literacy Center is engaged in community outreach in numerous, diverse relationships with local schools, businesses, and other community agencies.
Provides a 6-week workshop that provides families and caregivers with hands-on strategies for building literacy at home, reinforces the fact that parents and caregivers are their child's first and most important teacher, and builds text-rich environments at home by providing take-home books and other parent resources for families who participate in the program. All participants receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program and other incentives.
Ohio Hi-Point ABLE will help you build basic academic (reading, writing, math and computer) skills to prepare you for job changes, to help you help your children with homework, to enter college or other job training with confidence, or to prepare for official GED test. Help is also available for low or non-readers. Individuals set goals and pace.

Then parents and children will come together to share what they've learned.
