Designed to address the educational and training needs of the community. Offers Adult Basic Literacy Classes (ABLE) that assist adults with review of basic subjects such as: math, reading , writing, English for self-improvement and/or General Equivalence Diploma (GED) test preparation. Technical and Trade classes provide classroom related requirements for apprenticeships. Offers family literacy providing ABLE/GED students with early childhood literacy and parenting skills through the Even Start Program.

The Stevens Literacy Center is engaged in community outreach in numerous, diverse relationships with local schools, businesses, and other community agencies.

The Adult Diploma Program at C-TEC’s Adult Education Center is a new opportunity for any resident of Ohio who is 20 years old or older, and does not already have a High School Diploma or GED credential. Learning is student-centered, self-paced and begins with a Career Pathway in mind. From student orientation, career counseling, assessment and enrichment classes, to technical training that leads to an industry approved credential, this program is designed to provide support and promote success during and after graduation. Adult Diploma participants will receive their High School Diploma upon successful completion of the credential program, and acquiring the designated industry credential for their assigned program. Individualized one-on-one tutoring for individuals needing help with adult basic literacy or those learning English as a second language

Project Springboard is a comprehensive family literacy program that integrated adult, early childhood, and parenting education as well as parent and child together time. Adults and children attend programming together at The Clark enter. Parents will work to brush up on basic skills or work towards obtaining an Ohio High School Equivalency Diploma (GED) while children are participating in an Early Childhood program. Transportation and Child care services are provided.

Providing services; adult basic education, adult literacy programs, Early Head Start, language translation for Hispanic/Latino Community, literacy programs, tutoring services for children, tutoring services for youth. The neighborhood service center provides; adult classes, resource center; computer/phone/fax, information and referrals to local services, holiday giving, and community events.

Provides literacy support through tutoring, little free libraries, literacy outreach, and access to books for all.

Provides one-on-one tutoring to adults who wish to improve their reading, writing, math or English skills.

Passport Acceptance Facility: Department of State approved facility to accept in-person applications for new passports. Accepts the application form, performs all initial checks, administers oath and accepts payment. **NOTE** Does not provide passport photos. Notary Public Services: Provides notary services for individuals only. **NOTE** * The library will not provide witnesses and witnesses may not be solicited from library staff or patrons using the library. In order to serve as a witness, the witness must personally know the person whose document is being notarized and must be in possession of valid photo identification. * Notary services are not available for the following: mortgage or real estate documents, employment eligibility verification I-9 forms, certification of vital records (birth, marriage, death), auto titles without the buyer’s address and name. * Notaries cannot provide legal advice. * Notaries reserve the right to refuse to notarize any document. Career Online High School: Online high school diploma and career certification program. **NOTE** This is not a GED program. Successful graduates will earn a high school diploma through an accredited high school. Adult Literacy Program: Provides tutoring service to adults with low literacy skills.

Volunteers work one-to-one with adults, age 18 and up, to develop reading skills, job-search and job-specific vocabulary skills and with adults as English as a Second Language (ESL) students, especially those seeking U.S.citizenship status.
