Provides a 6-week workshop that provides families and caregivers with hands-on strategies for building literacy at home, reinforces the fact that parents and caregivers are their child's first and most important teacher, and builds text-rich environments at home by providing take-home books and other parent resources for families who participate in the program. All participants receive a certificate of completion at the end of the program and other incentives.

Helps parents become literacy leaders in their homes. Parents attend a session while their pre-school children will learn a corresponding lesson. Then parents and children will come together to share what they've learned. Parents are encouraged to teach their children their newly obtained skills to re-establish their role as the literacy leader in the home.

Provides a series of classes designed to help parents work with their children of any age who are enrolled in the school district to improve academic performance and to improve community quality of life. Topics may include child development, preparation for standardized testing, helping effectively with homework, preparing for college, basic child development, healthy eating and cooking and more. Topics change each session. Activities for children are provided as well as dinner when classes are offered in the evenings.

Provides a number of supports to families to help prepare their children for kindergarten. Services include home tutoring, free books, parenting tips, school supplies and step-by-step support for registration and transition into kindergarten.
Project Springboard is a comprehensive family literacy program that integrated adult, early childhood, and parenting education as well as parent and child together time. Adults and children attend programming together at The Clark enter. Parents will work to brush up on basic skills or work towards obtaining an Ohio High School Equivalency Diploma (GED) while children are participating in an Early Childhood program. Transportation and Child care services are provided.
