Accepts complaints regarding workplace safety. Workers may file a complaint to have the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) inspect their workplace if they believe that their employer is not following OSHA standards or that there are serious hazards. Complaints are kept confidential.

Lead is a naturally occurring element found in small amounts in the the earth's crust that can be toxic to humans and animals and cause adverse health effects. Homes, buildings, schools or daycare centers built before 1978 may contain some lead paint. Lead can damage nearly every system in the human body and has harmful effects on both adults and children. Lead poisoning is the greatest environmental threat to children in Ohio. FCPH offers a home lead inspection service for a fee.
Provides fire services to the community. Services include preventing, investigating, controlling and extinguishing fires and offering fire safety education.
166-acre nature preserve that includes Leadingham Prairie and access to the Mad River. It is adjacent to Estel Wenrick Wetlands and the main entrances are on Spangler Road in Medway.
Free Ohio Identification Card (ID) for Ohio residents 17 years old or older. Ohioans who are under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian. Can not already hold a valid driver license. Driver License holders can, however, choose to downgrade to a State ID. State IDs are also available for Ohioans who are 16 years and younger for a fee. Provides information and literature related to bed bugs and how to remove them. Does not provide extermination, but educates the public about the importance of prepping the home before an exterminator in order for treatment to be effective.
Offers fire protection services and fire prevention education and information for the City of Broadview Heights. Provides fire prevention education in the schools and the community and participates in health fairs. Will perform carbon monoxide testing.
