90 acres nature preserve with visitors center, hiking trails, wheelchair accessible birding area and live bird displays. Provides care for injured and displaced songbirds and raptors. Provides educational programs, field trips and tours to schools and groups.
Provides first aid and rehabilitation to injured or orphaned animals. Patients include backyeard widlife, such as rabbits and songbirds, and endangered species such as the peregrine falcone and bald eastle.
Provides an online list of Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitators. Agencies may care for injured and ill wildlife and/or provide relocation or safe housing of wildlife.

Programs include live education animals and collections of study skins, nests, and other natural materials useful as aids in learning about nature. Ohio Nature Education has special permits from the Ohio Division of Wildlife and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service which allow us to provide these materials and include live animals in our programs. Our creed is that learning must be fun and entertaining. Therefore, our programs are all activity based and are interactive. Programs are provided for adults, children and families, also in schools and the community.
Responsible for the conservation, protection, care and management of fish and wildlife resources and their habitats.
Provides a wildlife rehabilitation facility. Cares for injured and ill wildlife that is brought to the center with the ultimate goal of releasing them back into the wild. Can provide information about wild animals and how to deal with them in a safe and legal manner.

Maintains 98-acres nature preserve. Located on the south side of Butternut Ridge Road, about 8/10 of a mile southwest of the intersection of Butternut Ridge Road and state Route 83.
Provides a phoneline, as well web forms, that Ohio residents can use to report the location and abuse or neglect of non-native wild animals by private owners. Non-native animals include lions, tigers, primates, constricting or exotic venomous snakes and large bears.
