Monitors and documents compliance with health codes. Inspects and licenses tattoo and body piercing establishments, public facilities including schools, mobile homes and food service establishments. Provides surveillance and control of mosquito and other pests.

The Vector Control Program places and maintains insect traps in various locations throughout the city or county to detect serious pests such as the Gyspy Moth.
