The Environmental Health Division works on a variety of public health programs that support a safe food supply, clean water, and safe communities.

Provides -inspecting and issuing permits & licenses for food service operations, retail food establishments, vending achines, mobile and temporary foods, private water supplies, private sewage treatment systems, campgrounds and recreational areas, public swimming pools, spas and bathing areas, municipal solid waste landfills, tattoo establishments, dangerous wild animals, septic haulers. -In-house evaluations for real estate and water testing -Inspections/evaluations of school sanitation, resident camps/jails -Nuisance complaint investigations of sewage/solid waste/waste disposal and housing and premises sanitation
