Operates a centralized telephone switchboard staffed by trained personnel who assess requests for emergency assistance and dispatch the appropriate emergency response agency. 911 can be used for any immediate threat to a person's life, fire situation, crime in progress or any unknown type of situation.
Manages the emergency response 911 services for Medina County. Routes all emergency 911 calls in the county to the appropriate dispatch office so that the local emergency response teams can respond. Records calls and gathers information regarding the caller's specific emergency and responds accordingly.
