Home Safety workshops are offered as part of their older adult programs.
Provides a multi-session class that reviews techniques and strategies to educate individuals in ways that they can prevent themselves from falling. Participants learn to view falls and fear of falling as controllable, set realistic goals for increasing activity, make changes to reduce fall risks at home, and are encouraged to exercise to increase strength and balance.

The fall prevention program brings a professional into the home to conduct the tinetti test, capturing an individual's current fall risk. A home assessment is also conducted, then ways to minimize fall risk, both physically and around the home, are discussed.
FREE Matter of Balance classes are designed to help you reduce your fear of falling and improve your balance. Classes are held at the Genesis Outpatient Rehabilitation Center in Zanesville.

Offers classes and information on basic infant care, such as bathing, nutrition, and distinguishing cries. Class offered to new or expecting parents. Upon the completion of the class, the client will receive a layette.

Offers a paramedicine program to reduce the number of non-emergency 9-1-1 calls. Provides home consultations and preventative care, home safety assessments, social services referrals, education and assistance with health care system navigation. The program will track participants’ progress to monitor improvements.
These classes are more in-depth than the SLIP program and include exercises to help with balance. The classes address the fear of falling, balance, and exercise. Classes meet once a week for eight weeks.
Provides emergency information, on a 24-hour basis, for individuals who may need to take immediate corrective action to treat an individual who has been poisoned or ingested harmful substances. Also provides prevention information, educational materials, first-aid information, common household hazards, and information on use of medications.
Prevention Assessment Conditioning Exercise Program (PACER) is a fall risk assessment and conditioning program for persons at risk of falls. Risks are identified and environmental factors are modified by helping to eliminate hazards at home.
Provides firefighting, emergency medical services, rescue, plans review & fire investigation.
