Known as a Level II Trauma Center, equipped to treat the most severe life-and-limb threatening injuries. HVCH Emergency department provides initial treatment to patients with a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries, some of which may be life-threatening and require immediate attention. In cases of extreme trauma, we can stabilize and transport patients efficiently. A helipad is just outside our emergency treatment facilities.
