Provides a variety of services for men and women that relate to preganacy and sexual health at any age.

Provides testing for sickle cell anemia and other related diseases and makes referrals to medical facilities for treatment. Offers the services of a Newborn Coordinator who arranges for follow-up testing for newborns and provides assistance and information for parents.

Provides screening, education, and treatment for a variety of diseases that affect more men of certain races and ethnicities than their races or ethnicities appear in the population. Typical screenings include prostate cancer, high cholesterol, diabetes, high blood pressure, sickle cell anemia, and testicular cancer.

Provides health screening services such as blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, lead poisoning, sickle cell, and tuberculosis.

Provides comprehensive primary care and specialty care. Pediatrics, women's health, dental. Adult transitional sickle cell, infectious disease, hematology/oncology services. Dietician and social worker, diabetes management program, lab and pharmacy.

Provides women's and men's reproductive health screenings and services, including gynecology, obstetrics and prenatal care pap smears, and pregnancy testing, digital rectal exams, blood tests to detect prostate cancer (PSA's), testicular exams, birth control, and screening for Sickle Cell Anemia.

The West Central Ohio Comprehensive Sickle Cell Center is funded by a grant from the Ohio epartment of Health, Continuing, coordinated, and comprehensive care is provided to children and adiults with sickle cell disease, sickle cell trait and other hemoglobinopathies in a 17 county service area. The center is part of the hematology department at Dayton Children's Hospital.
