TB testing can be done during normal clinic hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday. No TB testing is done on Thursdays. Two-step TB skin testing may be performed within 7-21 days after the first TB test was given. A positive TB test does not necessarily mean a person has active TB. Any individual who has a positive TB test will meet with one of our clinic's trained professionals to review the results, and advise them of what their next step should be. Chest x-rays are performed with an order from an individual's personal physician, or our Clinic's Medical Director. Individuals found to have possible lung problems are referred to their personal physician for care. Individuals with respiratory problems, who have no personal physician or are unable to pay for medical services, may receive treatment from our Clinic's Medical Director. Home visits are available for tuberculosis and respiratory patients. For complete homebound patients, home visits are available including, flu and pneumonia vaccines, medication assistance, air conditioner and respiratory equipment (with a physician's order).
