Hotel/Motel assistance: Used when emergency shelter is full. This assistance is designed for individuals/families experiencing a housing crisis who have no other place to temporarily reside.
Homeless Prevention: Funds to be used to keep Preble County individuals/families experiencing a housing crisis (homelessness) related to non-payment of rent and at risk of homeless should financial assistance not be given. This is short term temporary financial assistance. Documentation is required for this assistance (I.e. utility disconnect letters, eviction letters). All funds are paid directly to landlords, utility provider etc.
