United Community Prescription Program, through Ohio Heartland CAC provides medication assistance for individuals that do not have private insurance.
Provides financial assistance to purchase necessary prescription drugs for people who are in an emergency situation. Will help pay up to $100 in prescriptions. Assistance is limited, based on available funding, and is on a case-by-case basis.
This is an income-based program that assists people who need help buying prescription medication. Certain medications are excluded. Offers Financial assistance and free injections is given to qualifying individuals who are uninsured, under insured or who cannot meet their insurance co pays. Offers Outpatient Detox, IOP, Detox, Casemanagement, Residentail Placement,Transporations assistance, Domestic Violence/Anger Management programs, Counseling, Group Theraphy and more.

Interchurch Social Services is offering prescription assistance, with the exception of pain medications. They are able to assist with health maintenance scripts - blood pressure, diabetes and such.
Provides all types of insulin and a 30-day supply of lancets and/or syringes for monitoring blood sugar levels. Also can provide pen needles for pre-loaded diabetic pens as well as as the pens. Type and amount of supplies available varies. Will work with clients to access other patient assistance programs.

Provides emergency financial assistance for rent, mortgage, utilities, public transportation, medication, and food vouchers through partnerships with other providers. Also provides VA Benefit Advocacy to help veterans and their families identify and access benefits from the Department of Veteran Affairs for which they qualify. Also provides official State of Ohio Veterans ID card that proves that the veteran has honorable discharge papers filed with the county. Veterans may also use the card for discounts with area businesses.
