Provides up to $100 in financial assistance to purchase necessary prescription drugs for people who would be in an emergency situation without assistance. Assistance does not cover narcotics.

The support group meets in Mercy Memorial Hospital's main floor conference room, 904 Scioto St.,Urbana. Can sometimes help with co-pays and prosthetics related to breast cancer.

Provides assistance navigating RxAssist, a database of prescription expense assistance programs.

Medication Assistance Program is available for Muskingum County residents, who have a respiratory diagnosis. The clinic will assist with the purchase of TB and respiratory medications for those who qualify for our financial assistance program. We can also supplement other programs such as Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance co-pays. Will also assist with applications for pharmaceutical companies' assistance programs. For non-respiratory medications, nurses will make arrangements for you to meet with other local agencies who may provide that service.

Walk in assistance for the homeless. Can provide a nights lodging at a local motel for the homeless. Can also assist with low cost medications. For those just starting a job and needing special shoes (steel toed or non skid) they can help with purchase of the shoes. Help in replacing identification and prescription assistance.

Provides medical case management and help with HIV related medical, dental, and mental health visits and payments. The OHDAP (Ohio HIV Drug Assistance program) is also coordinated through our agency. This program provides financial aid for HIV related medications and some medical insurance premium payments and co-pays.

The Community Services Department may be able to assist with an emergency prescription, water disconnects, or water deposits based on current funding availability and household income eligibility below 200% of federal poverty guideline. The maximum amount allowable for water assistance is $500.

Provides funds for the provision of health-related services for HIV+ individuals. Emergency assistance can be accessed to pay for medical appointments, medications, nutrition and other HIV related supportive services.

Provide senior adults with daily recreational activities, educational events, lunch, socialization, and fitness programs. Supportive services division for Trumbull’s retired and elderly population provides social work and counseling, prescription assistance and Medicaid/Medicare counsel, emergency assistance program, and free income tax assistance through AARP during the months of February through April each year. Provides primary care and other medical services. Services include assistance with medications, dental and vision care.

Provides assistance in the payment of medical bills and prescriptions for individuals with cancer.

Services offered include emergency, short-term financial assistance for prescriptions (not covered by the Health Department).

Provides prescription expense assistance for chronic illnesses. Assists uninsured and unde-rinsured patients in obtaining low-cost or free medications available through pharmaceutical companies. Provides technical assistance to access free or reduced cost medications. * All services have a faith-based message.

Provides limited one-time emergency assistance with rent, utilities, prescriptions, food, transportation and other approved needs.

May assist with prescription expenses under limited and special circumstances.

Provides a wide range of services for individuals, family and friends of people affected by epilepsy and those with developmental disabilities. Services include information and referral, advocacy and case management, non-medical transportation, work skills lab/job coaching/community employment, prescription and benefits assistance, peer support groups, family support network, family camp, and quarterly education programs (Living With Epilepsy series).

Assistance may be provided for eligible veterans or their surviving spouses to help pay for prescriptions.
