Participants are matched with agencies based on their skills, interests and geographic location. Telefriend provides peer telephone reassurance calls.

COVID-19 Temporary Message: Country Neighbor will temporarily suspend the congregate meal service in our dining rooms and programming activities in both Andover and Orwell effective Monday, March 16, 2020 through Friday, April 3, 2020 due to the recent COVID-19 pandemic. The offices will remain open for other services. Country Neighbor meal site attendees are being notified of the suspension and will be offered the opportunity of receiving home delivered meals during this period. All Country Neighbor staff will continue to take health and safety precautions including sanitizing and disinfecting vehicle services, washing and sanitizing hands and other measures to reduce risk of disease transmission. Helps those in need of monetary assistance with rent, utilities, prescriptions and emergency lodging (one night, two meals). Help is provided one time during the fiscal year of October 1st - September 30th per household.
