Offers several different classes for expecting parents or for those taking care of a baby. Also offers classes for new dads, new grandparents, new parents Lamaze (prepared childbirth), and siblings, as well as other classes that focus on topics such as early pregnancy, breastfeeding, childbirth for teens, and a childbirth refresher.

Provides supplemental food card that includes staple foods, fruits and vegetables; nutrition education; breastfeeding education; support and counseling; and referral services to eligible women and children. During the summer also provides a one-time $30 supplemental voucher to a limited number of participants for fruits and vegetables from selected local growers (Farmers' Market Nutrition Program), available while supplies last. Also offers speakers who discuss the program and the value of good nutrition.

Program is a faith based program that serves mothers, primarily African American moms with resources for safe sleep education and some baby items as stocked. We also have a food pantry.

Community education classes on various topics such as providing women who are first time mothers with information and knowledge, caring for family members with diseases and medical diagnosis, and for protecting your family in the event of medical emergencies.

Offers services and programs that support the overall health and wellness of families in Greene County.

Provides highly nutritious foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding support and referrals to health care and social service agencies to those lower income women, infants and children that meet the criteria. WIC is a federally funded program.

Breastfeeding consultations are available with an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant for any breastfeeding issues. Service is available to all moms regardless of income.

Provides a spectrum of care for pregnant women and their newborn children. Services include prenatal care, breastfeeding assistance, a Level III perinatal center (equipped to deal with high-risk pregnancies), and midwifery services (prenatal through labor and delivery).

The goals of the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Division are to eliminate health disparities, improve birth outcomes, and improve the health status of Licking County’s women, infants, children, youth and families. MCH Priorities: - Decreasing childhood obesity, reducing food insecurity, and supporting breastfeeding; - Decreasing infant mortality by ensuring infants have a safe sleep environment and car safety seats; - Increasing parenting skills, promoting early childhood development and school readiness; - Providing referrals to safety net services assure that the health needs of women and children are met; - Addressing social determinants of health; - Free transportation to medical appointments - LCHD has partnered with Uber to help women get a free ride to their next medical appointment.
