Provides influenza vaccine according to the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), flu shots will be available when the vaccine arrives (usually in September of each year). Flu shots are given in the clinic on a daily basis Mon-Fri. FluMist is available to Muskingum County children ages 2 through 18. It is available to out of county residents for a fee. Special arrangements can be made by business and industry for on-site flu shots; providing enough of your staff are interested and requested time is available. We also provide Pneumonia,TDaP (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) vaccines on a daily basis. No doctor's order is required. There is a nominal fee for each of these vaccines. KCHD will conduct two clinics offering the meningitis shot for students entering the 7th and 12th grade in the fall. The meningitis shot is required by Ohio law for all 7th and 12th grade students. In addition to the meningitis vaccine, other shots will be available including Tdap and HPV (Gardasil).
