Provides influenza vaccine according to the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), flu shots will be available when the vaccine arrives (usually in September of each year). Flu shots are given in the clinic on a daily basis Mon-Fri. FluMist is available to Muskingum County children ages 2 through 18. It is available to out of county residents for a fee. The flu shot will be billed to certain Medicare and Medicaid plans, with which we participate. Otherwise, if you cannot afford the fee, we recommend you please take advantage of the services of a local pharmacy for your vaccination, as they participate with almost all providers. Special arrangements can be made by business and industry for on-site flu shots; providing enough of your staff are interested and requested time is available. We also provide Pneumonia, Shingles, Tetanus/Diptheria/Acellular Pertussis (whooping cough) vaccines on a daily basis. No doctor's order is required. There is a nominal fee for each of these vaccines. Please call for more information.
