Adult Services | Geauga County Board Of Developmental Disabilities

Facilitates (but does not run) a wide range of programs for adults with developmental disabilities. Each consumer is guided by an individual service plan which is reviewed at least once per year. Supportive services such as communication skills training, psychological services, social work, home training services, and physical therapy assessments are provided along with vocational programs which include work evaluation, basic daily skills development, basic and standard work activities, on-the-job training, supported employment, and job placement. Consumers choose a partner agency and earn wages for their work. A social and recreational program for older adults is also available.

Return-To-Work Program (RETURN TO WORK PROGRAM) | Cleveland Clinic Foundation

Provides a range of services designed to help people overcome physical injuries or illnesses and return to or remain at work. Services include comprehensive evaluations of workplaces, as well as individual physical therapy, occupational therapy, and vocational rehabilitation with an emphasis on activities that build individual skills and stamina for success in post-injury employment.
