Providing pet food for cats and dogs to owners struggling with food insecurity. Partnered with The Madonio Animal Trust.
Offers 24 outdoor food pantry cupboards throughout Pickaway County to help provide food and toiletries for anyone in need 24/7/365. Those in need can open the door of any of the 24 cupboards and take only for their immediate needs and those who can donate are encouraged to place non-perishable food and toiletries into any and all the cupboards.

Pet food is available through the food pantry on a limited basis. It is available first come, first serve.
Provides spay/neuter subsidy program for cats and dogs to low-medium households, monthly spay/neuter cat clinic for outside cats ($15 for males and $20 for females)for all Greene County residents. Provides free pet food to low income families (once a month). Responds to calls concerning potential livestock abuse or neglect. Provides guidance on animal care, including options available for veterinary assistance. We do not operate a shelter but assist in finding homes for animals.

At times, the pantry may have cat litter, cat and dog toys, and canned dog and cat food - but not always. Pet food pantry is run off donated food from the public. Cannot guarantee that food is always available or that a specific choice of pet food brands will be available.

If you are a Licking County resident and are in need of food for your K-9 friend, you can apply online for assistance. A representative of the shelter will be in contact with you. Please note that the program is intended to assist short term. If you are still experiencing financial difficulty you will need to reapply, and Licking County Dog Wardens Office will determine whether or not additional assistance will be provided.
