If your pet should have a medical emergency, first contact your primary care veterinarian. If your veterinarian is not available or recommends a trip to MedVet, you should immediately bring your pet in. When possible, you or your veterinarian should call the Emergency Service before you bring your pet in so that our staff can be prepared for your arrival. When you arrive at MedVet, an experienced Emergency Service doctor will see your pet. After this initial treatment, post and/or continuing care options will be discussed.
