Columbus Humane is a private, nonprofit focused on supporting the bond between pets and their people, so prices are at or below our costs. The Columbus Humane Essential Care Center serves pet families who love their pets and struggle to afford care at traditional veterinary clinics. Wellness and sick/injured care services are at fixed prices, so clients know exactly what to expect up-front.

Community Environmental Health promotes and protects the health and safety of residents through preventative health programs: investigates animal bites; inspects jails; inspects RV Parks & Campgrounds; provides mosquito control and education; enforces housing maintenance and occupancy codes; licenses and inspects public swimming pools; licenses and inspects tattoo and body piercing establishments; provides education on diseases and health issues related to ticks. (Residents living in the Cities of Columbus and Worthington are served by Columbus Public Health.)

Offers affordable veterinary services for dogs and cats including vaccinations, microchipping, well checks, heartworm tests, and feline Leukemia screening. Provides sick animal care for dogs and cats with minor illnesses and ailments such as upper respiratory infections, urinary tract infections, ear problems, and allergies. Provides surgical procedures such as spay and neuter.

Provides routine medical care to companion animals.

Offers low-cost vaccine clinics. Care may include rabies shots, feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), nail trims, and other routine treatments. Microchips are also available.

Offers low-cost rabies vaccination clinics for dogs and cats. Additional vaccinations for dogs and cats will be available at a reduced cost. Program in coordination with Pet Guards Clinic.

Provides low cost spay and neuter services for cats and dogs. Offers basic veterinary services for companion animals, including, but not limited to: - Vaccines and de-worming. - Routine examinations. - FIV and feline leukemia testing. - Microchipping. - Canine heartworm treatment and testing.

Responds to animal bite complaints and provides information on rabies. Offer rabies vaccine clinices for cats, dogs and ferrets.

Offers low-cost veterinary services for dogs and cats including vaccination, dental care, and spay/neuter surgery. NOTE: Does not have an X-ray or ultrasound and does not provide emergency care.
