Develops partnerships with parents, guardians, and youth in order to strengthen the family unit by providing case management and supportive services. The goal is to help youth succeed in school and develop life skills with help from the family. The Family Resource Center also aids families that are dealing with issues such as domestic violence, truancy, teen pregnancy/parenting, job readiness, and youth who are demonstrating at-risk behaviors.

Assists child in the home of a relative/kinship caregiver. Funds can be used for items such as furniture, clothing, and other needs.

Serves as an organized framework to promote, maintain and facilitate community collaboration of multi-system services to children and families in Mahoning County. Responsible for oversight of numerous collaborative projects and will assist with grant applications that provide for collaborative service delivery. Accepts referrals for service coordination, wrap-around, and family support services.

Next Steps College Completion program pairs Success Navigators work with low-income students at Sinclair Community College to help them overcome non-academic barriers to completing their education.

We help first time mothers have healthy pregnancies, improve child health & development, and become more economically self-sufficient.

The Parent Support Program provides parent education classes for parents being served by a variety of Greene County agencies (e.g. Women’s Recovery Center, Greene County DJFS). For information about, and referral to other parenting program is also provided.

Support group that allows family members a chance to fully share their struggles and give support and comfort to each other. Groups include information and resources and educational presentations. Meets at Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall - 1304 Euclid Avenue in Zanesville.

Provide peer socialization and activities to adults. Yoga, physical exercises, recreational activities, games, etc. STNA on staff provides blood pressure checks as needed. Breakfast and lunch provided. Bus passes available for those who need them. A smoke free and drug free environment.

The Family Stability & Shared Youth program provides service coordination and support to Greene County families having children receiving services from multiple service systems. The program also assists the families and agencies in determining the need for placements, identifying options, coordinating funding, monitoring progress as well as discharged planning from residential treatment centers.

Provides family support services including family coaching, parenting tips, money management, financial assistance for parenting needs, and connections to additional community supports to help families succeed. Program is long-term and cannot provide immediate financial assistance.
