General Expectant/New Parent Assistance | Mercy Health

Offers home visits to facilitate a healthy pregnancy and birth, while providing education, advocacy and support. Services include procuring baby items (cribs, diapers, breastfeeding pumps, etc.), securing resources for housing, food, transportation, and employment opportunities, and accessing pre- and post-natal care.

Maternity First / Uhc Maternity Program | Unitedhealthcare Community Plan Of Ohio

Provides coordination of prenatal care, delivery, and post partum care. Provides information, education, and support to expectant and new mothers. Goal is to lower any health risks during pregnancy and childbirth. Participants have the option to receive informative texts at stages of developing pregnancy. Helps to find a doctor or nurse midwife. Helps arrange rides to and from prenatal checkups (these rides would count against the client's yearly limit of Medicaid covered rides). Clients are eligible for cash incentives for their participation.

Surrounds pregnant and new mothers with support, education and resources in a weekly group program to ensure a healthy pregnancy and a healthy baby. Services include prenatal and child birth education, medical referrals, talking with doctors and nurses, parenting resources, food assistance, baby items, as well as a healthy meal and the opportunity to socialize with other pregnant moms. Childcare and $5 Kroger gift card at each meeting. Transportation provided if needed.

Parenting Education And Support - What To Do When Your Child Gets Sick | Parent Support Initiative Of Knox County

KCHS and UCLA Health Care Institute offer a FREE workshop to help parents learn how to identify serious illness from common childhood illness, funded by the United Way of Knox County. The program is designed to help you: Make fewer trips to the doctor/ER, decrease time away from work, save money, make sure your child misses fewer school days, reduce worry and stress, gain confidence in making health choices for your child, and receive an easy-to-use guide “What To Do When Your Child Gets Sick.” Dinner and free childcare are available, as well as a $5 gas stipend all participants.

Provides a coordination of support services which enables individuals to access services that may be needed to ensure a successful pregnancy. Services also available for the newborn child.
