Provides summer residential camps for children who may not normally be given the opportunity for a camping experience. Located on a 200 acre forested peninsula of Leesville Lake in Caroll County, offers facilities including a Fellowship Hall, Chapel in the Trees, a large waterfront and boating area, pioneer village, campfire circle, hiking trails, craft and nature shelters, recreation field, a low ropes course, beach volleyball, and basketball courts. Christian education is taught daily through interactive programs, cabin devotions, and Sunday morning worship.

Provides a 6-week summer bible camp for children

A two-day grief camp for children and youth ages of 6-17 who have lost a loved one. This camp is held once a year during the summer. The goal is to help the children and youth survive the bereavement journey with skills, caring, and friendships to take along the way. Activities may include horseback riding, canoeing, bonfires, swimming, arts and crafts, hiking, zip lining and much more. Residential summer camp programs at Camp Oty'Okwa. From first-time campers to well-experienced campers, Adventure Camp is fun for everyone. Campers enjoy hikes through wooded terrain that allows them to truly experience nature. On the hikes, campers experience waterfalls, recess caves, ravines, creeks & so much more. Campers also enjoy time swimming, fishing, telling & listening to stories, arts & crafts, & lots of singing! Some adventures they may have will include spending the night sleeping in the woods under a canopy of trees & stars! Campers assigned to cabin groups get to help decide, with the counselor, activities to do during their stay. Each week is a new adventure! Each camp sessions provides hands-on sessions focused on learning. Campers will experience topics such as geology, stream studies, wildlife, and much more. Environmental Educators are on staff throughout the summer to accompany cabin groups on hikes and also to plan activities around fun science topics. The focus of all camp counselors is to encourage continued learning.
