These issues are addressed through programs offered in the community, newsletters offering information on these specific issues, and information offered via new technologies, such as the website.

Provides gardening information including diagnosis of plant and insect problems by phone or online. Offers gardening workshops for beginner and advanced gardeners, and a speaker's bureau for community groups and organizations.

Computer classes cover Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Creative Cloud programs, and others such as Drive and Outlook classes. Classes for beginners include Windows 10 and Digital Literacy Basics (including for tablets and smartphones). Also offers classes for advance users, such as Google Drive and PowerPoint.

Offers one and two night home repair workshops on a variety of topics. Classes may be suitable for homeowners who are beginners as well as those who have some experience. All workshops are taught by professionals in their fields. Workshops range from informational talks to hands-on practice.

Provides a year-round program for children to engage in after-school or summer activities.

The Driver Safety Program promotes safe driving, helps older drivers maintain their mobility, and promotes independence among older adults. Upon finishing the four-hour course, participants will receive a certificate of completion, which, if presented to most insurance providers, will qualify older adults for a safe driver’s discount. The course may be taken in person where available or online through AARP's website.
