Offers education and information on vegetable gardening, food preservation, and a limited amount of gardening supplies. Provides workshops to offer information about starting a community garden and to connect participants with other local gardening resources.

Offers gardening information, diagnosis of plant and insect problems, and information on soil testing. Clients may bring plant and soil samples for problem identification. Offers gardening workshops for beginner and advanced gardeners, covering subjects related to landscaping and design, lawn care and management, container gardening, etc.

Offers a horticulture instruction course. Once accepted into the program, must attend a training class then complete 50 hours of volunteer activity. Volunteer Master Gardeners serve in various ways including, but not limited to, speaking in the community, setting up gardening displays, and answering questions on the Master Gardener Hotline.

Also provides a garden toolkit, specifically designed for Ohio Learning Standards, for schools to utilize.

Provides information concerning gardening and urban farming in the soil including assistance with interpreting soil tests, how to get soil tested, stringing tomatoes, how to pull a hydrant permit, varieties of plants, sourcing organic materials, disease issues, etc. Also offers workshops pertaining to gardening, such as seed starting and organic amendments (fertilizers vs. minerals vs. soil conditioners). Does not provide any type of funding for gardening or urban farming. Assistance does not involve physical labor, such as planting, weeding or on-ground applications.
