Provides a wide variety of personal enrichment classes for children and adults of all ages. Offerings include, but are not limited to, arts and crafts, business and financial management, computers, cooking, dance, fitness, tai-chi, yoga, health awareness, meditation, gardening, foreign languages, travel, self-defense, photography, babysitting classes, acting, car care, college preparation and job search strategies.

Offers a variety of recreational programs designed to provide a broad range of leisure experiences. Types of activities offered include: cooking, yoga, massage, home decorating, home computing, arts and crafts, music and dance, individual and team sports. Some of the classes/activities are targeted to children and youth, others to adults. Also operates two outdoor swimming pools which offer aquatics programs in the summer. During the winter, aquatics programs are held at the pool at Lakewood High School.

Areas covered include: bank teller training, truck driver training, training and education for those in the construction trades, small business development, customer service, careers working with aging individuals, health care careers (State Tested Nursing Assistant-STNA- training), Spanish for health care professionals, social work certification, human resources, meeting/event planning, food service/hospitality, classes to prepare for standardized tests such as the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and other college entrance exams, police/fire/emergency training, and computer classes (including certification in advanced information technology).
