The fairgrounds consists of 106-acre grounds including 3 buildings, cafeteria, grandstand, outdoor arena and a harness track. Other fairground buildings are available for winter storage of boats and trailers. Site of the annual Richland County Fair, flea markets, and other special events.

The Dayton Art Institute volunteers are committed to enriching the community by creating meaningful experiences with art that are available to all.

Provides educational programs for youth and adults through a Museum Community Center and Gift Shop. Memberships are available.

Provides a one day event to assist families, individuals, and veterans who are facing poverty and homelessness. Offering access to social service providers, haircuts, medical screenings, professional portraits, meals, and personal hygiene kits. Providing guests with a new or very gently used pair of shoes or boots and new socks.

Programs focus on leadership and character development, career exploration, community service, STEM education, environmental conservation and health and fitness.

Offers bingo, lectures/discussion, cards, chess, entertainment programs, educational classes, luncheons, special events, travel, Sinclair College courses (no fee), dance classes, and arts and crafts.

Providing activities for families throughout the community, including parades, Easter egg hunts, scavenger hunts, festivals and other community-based events.

Provides information and referral services as a department of the Mansfield/Richland County Public Library. Database of information includes government, non-profit, and social service organizations. Sponsors and organizes the annual Summit County Fair. The fair is set to include food vendors, commercial vendors, two areas for multiple daily shows and amusement rides. Grandstand entertainment will include motocross, demolition derby, as well as truck-pull and tractor-pull events. Other entertainment at the fairgrounds in Tallmadge will include Junior Fair projects, horse pulls, and antique tractor displays.

47 acre historic garden estate and former home of Charles Kelley King. Opened as a public garden in 1953 and includes seasonal displays, plant collections, and Kingwood Hall mansion. Guests can visit the gardens, Kingwood Hall, ponds and trails. Auxiliary activities and programs are offered to support and to accentuate the enjoyment and understanding of the gardens and horticulture.

Hosts the annual Lorain County Fair in August. Generally includes entertainment, horse racing, tractor pulls, combine derby, demo derby, and other events.

Organizes the Allen County Fair featuring rides, entertainment, contests, and concessions.

Honors those Summit County residents who have died by violence. Attendees will be provided with an angel tree ornament with their loved ones' name and will adorn one of many angel trees with their ornament during the ceremony. A photo wall of remembrance with photos submitted by loved ones and family members will be displayed as well. After the ceremony, the angel trees and wall of remembrance will be displayed at the Akron Summit County Public Library for the month of December.

Collects exhibits and provides education about original works of art from all periods. Includes temporary exhibitions, films, lectures, seminars, tours, library, and research and jazz concerts . Special tours of galleries are available for physically, visually, and hearing disabled persons.

Holds an annual Glendale Memorial Day Ceremony, a special event for Veterans.

Offers community-based events like Fall Festival (winter coat giveaway) and We Love Wednesdays (homeless ministry).
