Accepting electronics, paper documents for shredding, latex paint, and American flags (with a flag retirement ceremony for recycling and building materials, furniture, and appliances for ReStore donation. Sponsored by Better Business Bureau of Akron. In additon to the recycling event, the event will feature a touch-a-truck for kids, free snow cones, and coupons for individuals bringing items to recycle or donate and individuals bringing donations of non-perishable items for the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank.

For all who have served in the military, there will be a Stand Down event on September 16, at the Canal Market District in downtown Newark. LCCH will be there with information about housing resources and the SSVF program. Many other service providers will be there as well. Lunch will be provided, snacks and hygiene bags will be available.
