Crisis Intervention, Information/Referral and Victim Advocacy are available free to any victims and their loved ones. Support groups for sexual assault victims and non-offending caregivers of sexually abused children are available periodically. Sexual Violence is our primary focus, but any victim of any crime is welcome to use our services.

Provides crisis intervention services to victims of anti-LGBTQ+ violence. Available by phone, text, chat, and email. In person support and intervention may be available in certain circumstances. Support groups and other support services coming soon.

Provides direct support services to victims and survivors of human trafficking. Services include group therapy, art therapy, life skills, support groups, mentorship, referrals to needed human services, and developing effective work skills. Services are designed to provide human-trafficking survivors with holistic trauma-informed healing and restoration.

Offers a number of health-related support groups, including groups related to bariatric surgery, cancer care, crime and trauma assistance, diabetes management, grief and loss, limb loss, midlife women, breast feeding, pregnancy and childbirth and stroke.

LSS 211 Central Ohio

211 Allen County

Provides a support group for survivors of intimate partner violence. Participants discuss and share their common experiences. Goal is to provide support and empowerment and to affirm that abuse was is not the fault of the victim and to develop healthy coping skills and heal from trauma. Service is confidential and Safe Zone certified for the LGBTQ community. Child care is provided during the meetings.

Provides support groups for survivors of sexual abuse or sexual assault. Offers separate groups for adult females, adult males, and teen girls. Parents and/or partners may be invited to participate in some of the group activities.

Provides access to services for survivors of human trafficking. Services include individual counseling, case management, and assistance for survivors who are considering legal options, support groups, and specialized programming. Services include access to laundry facilities, showers, a lounge, computer access, job search assistance, a kitchen with food and more.

The Women's Group is intended for women who have been the victim of domestic violence, assault, or human trafficking. The goal of this group is to provide a safe place for women to be able to work through their trauma in an accepting and welcoming environment, led by a licensed clinician.

Short-term residential facility providing crisis stabilization for persons experiencing or recovering from a mental health and/or substance use crisis and in need of an intermediate level of care. Clients are admitted when they are stepping down from inpatient psychiatric units or diverted from inpatient psychiatric admission. Focus on stabilizing the current crisis and mobilizing resources so person can be treated in a less restrictive setting.

The Soy Latina, "I am Latina," Victim Services Program serves victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, family violence, dating violence, and stalking. Promotora Specialists, fulfill many functions while working with these cases; they become victim advocates, educators, and caseworkers to ensure that the victim has access to every legal, medical, and social service available to them. The program parties a client-centered approach in empowering survivors by informing them of the resources available and their legal rights and making decisions that best fit their needs. From the first meeting, Promotoras are there to support the survivor in their decisions and attend any and all meetings, appointments, or hearings for which the survivor wishes them to be present. Services offered include: Safety planning, Medical and legal advocacy, Court companionship, Life coaching, Crisis intervention, Assistance filing the victim compensation application, Registering for the VINE link and more. The Empoderando Mujeres, "empowering women," Community Empowerment Group for Latina/Hispanic women throughout the Central Ohio area in where community members participate in activities such as tejido (knitting), manualidades (crafts), Zumba, maquillaje (make-up), and other Latino activities along with education on domestic violence, sexual abuse, and healing. The group meets once a week at the main office location.

LSS 211 Central Ohio

Prevention, intervention, support and advocacy, with emphasis on empowerment to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and stalking. Provides an emergency shelter, 24 hour crisis line, campus advocacy, court advocacy, hospital advocacy, community outreach, and support groups. *Note: Address to Safe Haven is not advertised.
