Offerings may include, but are not limited to, exercise classes, arts and crafts, cards and table games, ceramics, dancing instruction, monthly luncheons, a book discussion group, special events, speakers, trips, computer classes, computers with internet access, a game room, and tours.

Offers The Akron Youth Symphony (AYS), the flagship ensemble of the Akron Youth Orchestra program. The Akron Youth Symphony provides a pre-professional educational experience for advanced music students. Co-sponsors, with Akron Public Schools, the Akron Youth Philharmonic, which provides the opportunity for talented students to perform a wide variety of orchestral literature with their peers.

Provides a progressive orchestra program with educational musical opportunities in orchestral and small ensemble training and performance for young instrumentalists under the guidance of professional musicians. Offers musical performances for youth and the public throughout the year, summer music day camps, an annual concerto competition, a composition contest, and a postseason chamber music extension, as well as tours, trips, and other enrichments.

Provides social and recreational activities including exercise, arts and crafts, singing, films, and parties.

Provides a full range of music education opportunities for individuals of all ages. Offerings include private and group lessons/ensembles in instrumental music, voice, composition and music theory, keyboard, sight singing and basic musicianship, choirs, and dalcroze eurythmics. Also offers monthly and/or faculty showcases open to the public. Classes may be available in person and online.

Provides various weekly and monthly activities including: arts and crafts, card games, yoga, exercise classes, specialty luncheons, bingo, sing-a-longs, and local and out of town trips.

Offers a wide variety of recreational activities for seniors including but not limited to, exercise classes, yoga, crafts, dominos, scrabble, Mah Jongg, walking, bowling, chess, bingo, line dancing, ballroom dancing, bocce, walking, writing/grammar instruction, tai chi, line dancing, woodshop, oil painting, book groups, choral sing-a-long, outings and trips, computer classes covering computer basics, e-mail, internet, Word and Excel. Also offers classes to all adults in woodworking, painting, and other arts and crafts.

Provides an after school learning lab with computers, reading materials, and tutors. Overall focus is on literacy. Includes: service learning, college and career exploration, health and wellness, social skills and self-esteem, recreation trips, among other services. Also offers a competitive summer arts program where girls work with professional artist/teachers in several areas of the arts including: music and poetry composition, creative writing, dance, acting, or graphic design. Girls write music and lyrics, choreograph, perform, and record a CD of their work. Live performance at end of summer.

A community orchestra which provides both a performing opportunity for capable instrumentalists and a concert series for the enjoyment of the public.

Provides a fee-based community choral experience based in classical roots of traditional choir programming and literature for the enjoyment and enrichment of the community.

Provides a performing choral singing group of children that consists of both a performing chorus and a training chorus. The performing chorus offers musical programs to the public locally, nationally and internationally.

Offers free community band for musicians of all ages. Holds weekly rehearsals and public performances throughout the year, including a summer concert every Friday evening in Medina Square throughout June and July.

Offers a community-based choral program for children Kindergarten through 12th grade. The oldest choir also serves adult community members. Trains children in choral music and vocal performance, provides them with an opportunity to improve their vocal and social skills in a variety of choir settings, and gives children an opportunity to perform in concerts both close to home and in some of the world's greatest musical venues.

Program provides homework help, tutoring by a certified teacher, cultural enrichment and youth development activities, dinner daily and parent support.
