Through completing the projects, 4-H members learn to set goals, develop positive self-esteem, learn citizenship, and develop life skills. Membership open to all age-eligible youth. 4-H is a non-formal educational, youth development program offered to individuals age 5 and in kindergarten to age 19. Ohio 4-H youth development reaches more than 240,000 youth each year – helping kids “learn by doing” through hands-on activities. All 4-H programs focus on active involvement and quality experiences which stimulate lifelong learning of values and skills. 4-H members learn valuable lessons in leadership, communication and collaboration while increasing their knowledge in math, science, technology and a variety of other topics. MARVEL*US is an afterschool enrichment program for TANF eligible youth ages 5-13. MARVEL*US operates as a summer camp for 8-weeks from June - August.

Services include an after-school drop-in youth center in Southside Gardens, CASA curriculum in Southview Middle School, and scholarships for after-school and summer activities through the 231GO! Offers before and after-school care focusing on creative activities, homework assistance and fitness. Also provides full day child care services when school is not in session due to parent-teacher conference days, snow days, single day holidays and holiday breaks.

Healthy Asian Youth (HAY) is an afterschool and summer tutoring and mentoring program for children grades K-12th. Provides educational, ESL and enrichment activities such has SAT/ACT prep, career/college workshops, violence prevention for ages 13-18 and reading, math and computer enrichment for ages 5-12.

Through Clubhouse, teens in 7-12 grade volunteer to mentor children in 2-6 grade.

Scouting America provides opportunties for individuals ranging from youth to young adult.

Offers a bilingual after school program for students 5-18 years old. Provides learning opportunities that support and reinforce academic and life skills. Activities include tutoring in reading, math, and science, arts and crafts, folk dancing and computer workshops.
