Connections is the centralized hub for volunteering in Delaware County, Ohio. Promote awareness, education, peer support, as well as, advocacy for the LGBTQIA (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual, and our Allies) community within the Mahoning Valley. Host monthly peer support groups within a safe-space center, provide events, trainings, and services for the LGBTQIA+ community, offer LGBTQIA+ inclusive training for area organizations and businesses.

Provides volunteer training and opportunities for youth (ages 16 and older) and adults interested in working with the elderly and chronically ill adults. Opportunities include: wheelchair transport, gardening partner, activity assistant, visitor/reader, clerical assistant, and lunch bunch escort.

Disaster Services respond to house fires and floods and provide food, shelter and clothing on a per-incident basis. Service to Armed Forces responds 24/7 to military phone calls to aid military families (current and veterans) with a variety of services. Home Fire Campaign offers free smoke alarm installation to families who are living in apartments or homes without working smoke alarms. Offers safety programs including First Aid, CPR and AED training. Volunteer opportunities available.

Volunteer program of the Trumbull County Probate Court. Provide advocates who reach out as friends to seniors who may need a friendly phone call, visit in a nursing home or visit at home. Involved in planning special events for seniors such as health fairs, and Make a Difference day projects. All volunteers are qualified, trained, have references, undergo background check, and have signed letter of confidentiality.

Provides volunteer training and opportunities for ages 14 and up. Opportunities are available in most departments of the museum, such as animal care, education and the Planetarium.

Provides volunteer opportunities for youth and adults in Greene, Montgomery and Preble counties.
