Provides volunteer training to those interested in learning how to mediate and help others manage and resolve conflicts in a constructive, peaceful, and non-violent manner.
Volunteer program of the Trumbull County Probate Court. Provide advocates who reach out as friends to seniors who may need a friendly phone call, visit in a nursing home or visit at home. Involved in planning special events for seniors such as health fairs, and Make a Difference day projects. All volunteers are qualified, trained, have references, undergo background check, and have signed letter of confidentiality.

A 2-1-1 Resource Navigator will search the 2-1-1 database to find volunteer opportunities that meet the client's interests, needs, and eligibility. Does not offer screening or conduct interviews.

Provides volunteer opportunities to the diverse community of Greene County. The areas of training are: clerical positions, health and safety instructors, as well as yard and building maintenance.
Maintains a database that list volunteer opportunities and makes referrals to those agencies needing volunteers. Volunteers serve in various capacities such as at soup kitchens, food pantries, holiday parties and meals and collecting needed items such as food and personal supplies. Most assignments are longer term, but short-term assignments available four times a year. Some opportunities are targeted to the Jewish community, such as collecting Kosher food and planting flowers and cleanup at a Jewish cemetery.

RSVP offers flexibility. You choose where you want to serve, what you want to do, and how much time you want to give.
