Communication is the key to success between students, parents, schools and tutors. Adult volunteers help all students from grades 1 through 12. Parents are responsible for all transportation to and from tutoring.

Trains tutors to volunteer at the CCLC and at other local tutoring programs. Also has a Used Bookstore with books ranging from baby board books to hardcover novels.

Volunteer Opportunities include one-on-one tutors and one-on-one mentors.

Actively seeking volunteers for the following activities: Christmas Bell Ringers and Toy Packers, Food Packing and Distribution, Tutoring/Mentoring Children and Youth, Clerical/Office Assistant, Kitchen help, Food Pantry packing and sorting, Food Pantry food distribution, Van Drivers, and Landscaping and Maintenance.

Provides volunteer training and opportunities for adults and youth. Opportunities include: Assist with Homework and Reading Readiness, support of meal time at 4pm, monitoring of gym, playground, and parking lot and just wanting to be a positive presence in a child's life.

Provides one-to-one mentoring for high school age youth through a vetted community volunteer. Focus is on relationship, academic, career, and spiritual growth. Provides one-to-one mentoring for 18-22 year old young adults with barriers to employment and education, and a stated readiness to grow in those areas.
