Recruits and coordinates teams of local volunteer medical and public health professionals who can contribute their skills and expertise throughout the year as well as during times of community need. Activities may include treatment of victims of a mass disaster or epidemic, staffing of an emergency vaccination clinic, assisting with flu clinics, or providing educational sessions for the public.

The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a national network of volunteers, organized locally to improve the health and safety of their communities. MRC volunteers include medical and public health professionals, as well as other community members without healthcare backgrounds. MRC units engage these volunteers to strengthen public health, improve emergency response capabilities and build community resiliency. They prepare for and respond to natural disasters, such as wildfires, hurricanes, tornados, blizzards, and floods, as well as other emergencies affecting public health, such as disease outbreaks.

Provides a volunteer program with medical and non-medical volunteers who assist and support local public health efforts before, during, and after an emergency. Also assist during non-emergency public health activities.

• Physicians, Dentists, Medical Massage Therapists, Pharmacists, and Nurses for OPEN M's Community Clinic.

• Clerical volunteers for front desk receptionists.
• Mentors for the Community Works Connections Program for newly employed adults.
• Special Events.

Give an Hour is a national nonprofit that provides barrier-free mental health counseling. We are able to do this incredible work because of our network of mental health professionals across the nation who volunteer one hour per week for one year to those who qualify for our services. Our current populations include service members, veterans, and their loved ones, and those affected by natural and man-made disasters. In order to participate in the Give an Hour network, providers must register with our non-profit.
