Crisis Stabilization Center provides alternatives to inpatient hospitalization in a managed care environment. The Center is a six-bed facility designed to provide an alternative to hospitalization and assist in the resolution of problems which are contributing to a person’s illness. The crisis center accepts people over the age of 18 who have psychiatric illnesses or emotional disturbances that make short-term intervention in a supportive setting necessary. People in crisis may stay in the program for a maximum of fourteen days, during which time they are assisted in making choices regarding future living arrangements, continued treatment, and other related issues. Services such a psychiatric consultation, nursing consultation, case management, and individual solution-focused therapy are provided during the consumer’s stay.

Provides a 24 hour hotline, support and safe shelter if needed to assist primary and secondary victims of sexual assault. Also offer on site hospital advocates to meet with the survivors to assist in the initial crisis intervention and to answer any questions of the survivor and family members who may be on site.
