Provides Readjustment Counseling Services (RCS) for Veterans, Guard/Reserve and Active Duty Members by providing benefits application assistance, information and referral services for veterans to include job placement referral, alcohol and drug referral, claims contact referral, and primarily assist as the focal point for Veterans in need of Mental Health services or direction for assistance of the above mentioned.

Persons may take any or all of the screenings, and may take any screening more than once.

The program goals are to provide our clients and their significant others with a range of services to assist in dealing with readjustment problems that may be related to the military-to-civilian transition, including but not limited to, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), military sexual trauma (MST), hostile environments, bereavement and the war on global terror. The Vet Center can help you cope with stress, achieve self-esteem, get a fresh start and achieve your goals. Individual, group, marriage and family counseling is offered in addition to referral and connection to other VA or community benefits and services. Vet Centers are staffed with professionals experienced or trained in working with veterans. Counselors come from many disciplines including psychology, social work, professional clinical counseling and marriage and family therapy. Many staff members are veterans themselves.

The self-assessments are a series of questions that, when linked together, help create a picture of how an individual is feeling and whether they could benefit from further evaluation or treatment. The assessments are available online, over the phone, and at special events held at installations worldwide.
